                               Fly! Graphics v1.0
                               ==================

Thank you for using Fly! Graphics. Fly! Graphics is a simple graphics
viewer/converter for Windows targeted specifically at the Fly! I and II addon
designers and end users. It is based on the feel of ACDSee and the look of
Terminal Reality's Fly! II. Fly! Graphics supports these graphic formats:

RAW
PBM
PBG
BMP
TIF
TGA
JPG
GIF

Fly! Graphics lets you immediately preview any of the graphics after you extract
a POD or EPD from Fly! I or II. This allows you to easily determine which files
you want to change. Once you select these files, you simply click the convert
button to convert to any of the above supported formats. If one of the original
files was a PBG (Terminal Reality multi-framed format), Fly! Graphics creates a
text file with the same graphic name that included the information to convert
back to the multi-framed PBG format if desired. If one of the original files is
a RAW, Fly! Graphics will show you a preview before conversion and let you
choose its width and height by simply tapping the UP or DOWN arrow keys on your
keyboard. This provides completely error-free RAW conversions in a very
intuitive way.

Fly! Graphics natively supports these formats: BMP, TIF, TGA, JPG and GIF. To
support the Terminal Reality formats of RAW, PBM and PBG, Fly! Graphics relies
on four command line tools to help in the conversions (these are run in the
background and invisibly - you'll never see a command prompt with Fly!
Graphics). These four command line tools are included with Fly! Graphics with
permission from their respective authors:

Raw2Bmp.exe and Bmp2Raw.exe - Frank Racis
Raw2Pbm.exe and Pbm2Raw.exe - Terminal Reality Inc.

During installation, these files are placed in your Fly! Graphics folder. These
four tools MUST remain there for Fly! Graphics to work properly.

Many, many thanks to Frank and Terminal Reality (in particular, Richard Harvey)
for the permission to include their tools with Fly! Graphics. And, of course,
many thanks to Terminal Reality for giving our passion life with this wonderful
hobby: Fly!.

Peace to you and yours always, Rich.

                                  Installation
                                  ============

Once you have extracted the Fly! Graphics zip file, simply run the included
Setup.exe to install this program. Fly! Graphics runs on Windows
98/98SE/ME/NT/2000/XP. Fly! Graphics does NOT support Windows 95 or 95 OSR2
- I'm sorry. These very old operating systems do not include some of the
important functions that Fly! Graphics depends upon.

Fly! Graphics is currently not available in a native format for Macintosh
systems. It may, however, run fine in a Windows emulator.

                                    License
                                    =======

Fly! Graphics is and will remain Freeware. I am a great believer in the Open
Source movement as well, but I could not find a Skin Engine that was open
source. So, this utility is not Open Source. However, if you would like the
source code (for Borland Delphi Pro v5.0 or above) and are willing to pay the
$50-55 US license fee for the Skin Engine, I would gladly share this source with
you. Please contact me at the above address for further information.

Feel free to distribute this software under these conditions: This software
MUST be kept intact in its original Zip format, which includes this Readme. No
individual parts of this distribution may be separated or distributed from the
package. You may not charge for this software without the express written
consent of its author(s). A nominal distribution fee ONLY may be charged
without consent.
