-----------
History
-----------

Dreux airfield was used during the second world war, as a base of German messerschmitt and JU88 aircrafts.
There are still few pieces of the old concrete runway close to the hangars.

------------
Location
------------

Dreux is a little airfield, with 1 grass runway 04-22; 720x80.
This airfield is located south of Dreux city and about 80kms south-West of Paris in Class G,
but close to Class A TMA 7 and 8 (FL055 and 3500ft) of Paris and not to far to Evreux military area
S/CTR Class D (1500ft), where are based Transall Transport aircrafts.
There is one aero-club for light aircrafts, one ULM aero-club and few private hangars on this airfield.
There are also sometimes few gliders who land and takeoff from this strip.

-----------------
Introduction
-----------------
Dreux scenery is a custom objects created airfield.
It was made possible using BinEdit and Paint Shop Pro.
My design philosophy is straightforward. I want my models to look like real life buildings/hangars, with
about 90% of the exact architectural copies.
I am a real PPL pilot (C150/152/172; R3000; TB9), and I like to recover what I see when I takeoff,
land and taxi on the same airports I build for Fly! II.
I used about 20 snap shots and camcorder to build all the 3D's and define textures.
