-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Piper Aircraft Corporation: PA19 - 100hp F-BOER release: v1
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------- General informations -------------------------

- The model is settled for 1024 x 768 resolution. You can use with other resolutions but you will not have all the internal views.
- The plane is tested with patch 230 from TRIi , 218 works too.
- Controls are settled with 100% and trim with 1%.
- Default load is pilot (170 lbs) and little baggage (sandwiches ?). For best nose up you can put some cargo in rear seat...
- You should set winds aloft before take-off. You will enjoy flight with less than 5 knts. Over this, you will encounter some very critical phugoids oscillations due to the lightness of the plane and the modelled updrafts (I presume ?...).
- For the same reason you should remove turbulence in realism options.
- When using the accurate engine start or automatic start, you do need to push the red button to start.
- Fuel consuption is a little over standard : with 2200 rpm (Vc) at 3200' I get some 36 lbs/h.
- get 2750 rpm only for take-off and short periods. When you reach 300' AGS after t/o get 2300 rpm for a 400-600 ft/m vsi.
- Remember the generator or you'll drain the battery.
- You will have some dll in files. These are only for PC.
		- One is an internal camera (C key scroll) = use arrows for head moving and "End" to come back in 0 position.
(choose Pilot or Passanger but only one pa19 camera can be used in Modules folder).
(&! You need to have the zipped cameras.txt in your data folder)
		- The second is a helper for landings (F12 key) =
			- it gives the pitch (-up, + down)
			- the glideslope (dirflight)
			- and the ground speed.
			- If you are near the airport it shows your vertical position too.
(just keep in mind you need to stay in a 3 glideslope)
		- The last dll set a random weather for pa19 with light winds and light guts.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT (Pa19_failures.dll):
--------------------------------------
next update!

Flying
---------

- Best cruise 2200 rpm (the best settings). Trim is almost neutral. Max cruise 2400-2450 rpm. Von (maxi speed cruise) is 2450 rpm and 78-80 knts. Here you need to trim down !
- You do need throttle adjustments for best trim settings. In example 20-30 rpm +/- gives great benefit (don't trim all way long !).
- Descent 2000-2020 rpm to preserve engine warm (70-75 knts); final 1500-1700. Flare all down.

				knts	Km/h
				------------
		STALL 39	72
		Vx 59	109
		Vc cruise	75	140
		Vno 79	146
		Va 86	160
		Vne 101	188

Propeller rpm : woodden prop EVRA DI 1/28/4C type
				---------------------------------
				maxi continued rpm	2400
				climb after t/o	rpm	2300 --> Vx 59 knts
				continued cruise rpm	2200
				descent rpm 1700-2050

ZOOM FACTOR :
-------------
For best render views you should set your zoom factor according your 3d videocard possibilities. Default key are not set for zoom factor so go in "options" "keys & buttons" and prepare two buttons (i.e. Ctrl-Alt-"=" and Ctrl-Alt-")" ) for zoom factor in "camera keys" category. I prefer 2.0 in internal (tri) cam and 3.2 in externals due to my 3d capacity. Big values in external camera preserves fps in some way...

NSTALLATION (PC and Mac):
--------------------------
- print the Flight manual
- Put all 4 epd aircraft files (pa19_20, Pa19_21, Pa19_22, Pa19_23) in a subfolder called PA19 (if you wish) in your main aircraft folder. You do need to have only four files (20-21-22-23 any versions you have).

INSTALLATION Dll for PC (Bonus!) :
-------------------------
- Put all dll in "Pc" subfolder of main "modules" folder and cameras.txt (for IntCam's) in "Data" folder. BTW : Remember to remove other previous IntCam dlls to avoid conflicts.

Pa19_Rand_Weather.dll = set light winds in calm air.
Pa19_IntCam_Pilot.dll = (or Pa19_IntCam_Passanger.dll but only one !) you are in the pilot seat or the passanger seat.
LandingHelp_F2.dll = Can be used with all the planes.

If you don't fly the pa19 you should remove all these dlls( except for LandingHelp that can be used with almost all the planes).
